Booking and Deposits
To book any service online at The Lullabar, our booking platform, Vagaro, requires full payment for the service to secure your appointment. This deposit includes adding a card on file to secure the appointment with no additional charges.
Since we offer multiple services at The Lullabar, we have found that it is best to streamline our front desk operations during check-ins and check-outs.
But don’t fret! We have a flexible cancellation and refund policy, please read below:
You may cancel your appointment at any time, either through Vagaro or by simply calling our front desk at (858) 345-2283. However, to receive a refund, please read our policies below:
FULL REFUND: To receive a full refund, we kindly request a 24-hour notice before your appointment to receive a full refund of your services.
To cancel your appointment and receive a full refund, simply cancel by logging in to your Vagaro profile, or contact us at 858-345-2283 or email@example.com, providing your name, appointment details, and if you wish to reschedule your appointment.
PARTIAL REFUND: We know things come up, and emergencies happen! As parents, we know things come up, especially with small children.
In the event you wish or need to cancel within the 24-hour period of your scheduled appointment, different rules may apply depending on your service:
- Childcare: If your little one wakes up feeling ill or is not up for childcare that day, no problem! Call us, and we’d happily reschedule your appointment or issue a gift card. Our top priority is the safety of your child and other children at The Lullabar.
- Nail Salon + Special Events: Due to limited availability in the nail salon, we must retain 25% of your total service cost if your appointment must be canceled within the 24-hour period of your scheduled appointment.
- If you booked child care alongside your nail appointment, we would happily issue a gift card or reschedule your appointment for the full services booked.

Why did you change your refund and cancellation policy?
As flexible as we’d like to be, we quickly realized that last-minute cancellations with full refunds created difficulties in properly staffing for the day, which led to instances of empty chairs throughout the day. We are still committed to being as accommodating as possible while still practicing fair cancellation, refund, and rescheduling procedures that also support our team.
My child had difficulty in childcare and had to be picked up early. Can I get a refund?
We understand that not all spaces are for everyone. And it may be a process for some children to leave their caregiver for the first time. In the event your little one did not enjoy his first experience, we are happy to offer you a gift card for the reservation cost so that you may try again! We’ve noticed that sometimes it takes a few tries before a child feels comfortable in a new space.
My child woke up feeling sick and could not attend childcare. What should I do?
Please call the front desk or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be happy to reschedule or provide a gift card. We appreciate not bringing in your child when they are not feeling well!
I bought a music or dance program. What is your refund policy?
For our program packages, we offer no refunds, unfortunately, and makeup classes are not provided. The reason for this is that our workshop room has very limited spots, and cancellations do not allow us to find a replacement. If you wish to transfer your program to a friend, please contact the front desk.
