CONCEPT
How much is your drop-in for Parent & Child time?
Our Parent & Child is $15 for one child. Parents and babies in carriers are free. Due to limited availability, we are unable to offer sibling discounts at this time. However, we recommend purchasing a 4 PACK Parent & Child Bundle, which provides a reduced price per session. For information on Parent & Child and our schedule, click here.
What are the options for less than 12m?
We offer 1-hour temporary childcare for children who are crawling, as well as host several baby-friendly events per month in our workshop room! For a full list, click here. You’re also welcome to bring your LO with you to the nail salon if you can babywear or have them in a car seat.
Are dads allowed in?
Yes, of course! Lots of dads utilize our cafe and childcare services and even our nail salon! We welcome any and all caregivers to The Lullabar.
Do I have to secure childcare to book your workshop or beauty services?
No, you do not. You may secure any reservations you’d like. We also accept walk-ins as well!
How did you come up with the concept for The Lullabar?
The concept for The Lullabar was inspired by a “mom’s day off” poolside, living in the moment, no kids in sight, wishing for a space to unwind for an hour or two – guilt-free.
What differentiates you from other play spaces?
Our goal for The Lullabar is to create an adult-centered atmosphere with a play space. Our primary focus is the parents and their experience. However, in terms of our play space, we strive to make it a place of learning and fun versus loud and overstimulating. Our color palette will be calming as well as the atmosphere.

What services do you provide at The Lullabar?
The Lullabar provides the following services:
– Manicures & pedicures in our Nail Salon
– Fun classes and special events, like Mommy & Me Yoga and How to Make Sourdough. Visit our Events page for more information.
– Indoor/outdoor cafe space with a full espresso bar. Free wifi is available!
– Play Space offering temporary childcare and Parent & Child sessions.
– Programs such as dance and music!
Do I have to be a mom to come to The Lullabar?
No, you do not! Lots of our customers don’t have children and come to utilize our cafe and/or nail salon simply because they enjoy being there.

Do you guys have Wi-Fi in the cafe?
Yes, we do!
How do I make a nail appointment?
You can book online here. Or give us a call at (858) 345-2283, and we’ll reserve a spot for you! If you’re feeling lucky, we also accept walk-ins!
Do you allow walk-ins?
Yes, we do!
Is outside food allowed?
No food is allowed in the play space, nail salon, or studio room. In the cafe, we allow snacks for children, however no outside food for adults, please.
Do you change diapers in the play space?
We do not. You will receive a buzzer during drop-off and you will be buzzed in to change a #2 diaper.
Are you a daycare?
We are not. Daycares change diapers, assist with feedings, and provide an educational curriculum. Those are not our services. We provide temporary childcare to complement our beauty and workshop services for The Lullabar. All parents must be on-site at all times.
Can you tell me a bit more about your child monitors?
Here are our current standards for all childcare monitors:
- Must pass a full background check
- Must have at least two years of experience in childcare with young children. Many of our hires have previous experiences working in a daycare, school, and/or both.
- Must have up-to-date certification in CPR and first aid
- Must love working with children.

Can I drop off my child and shop around The Beacon?
Unfortunately, no. We require all parents and caregivers to be within the premises of The Lullabar for safety reasons.
Do you accept children with special needs? I have a daughter with autism.
Anyone is welcome into our play space! However, please know we are not a daycare and cannot provide specialized services and attention to just one child. Please feel free to give us a call so we may learn more about what you are looking for: (858) 345-2283.
Will the nail salon be enclosed or open? I’m worried about the smell.
The nail salon is in a separate 500 sqft room with strong ventilation. You may also request that we open our french doors for additional air.
Do I have to make a reservation to stop by the cafe?
No, everyone is welcome to stop by the cafe anytime during our business hours.
What type of events do you offer?

How much are your classes or events?
Workshops generally range from $29–$45, depending on the class and materials.
What is the age range for childcare?
We offer childcare for little ones who are crawling and walking up to 5 years of age. Crawlers will only have access to the 1-hour time slot.
Walkers (this group will include children of any age under five years who are walking) are able to enjoy both the 1-hour and the 2-hour sessions.
What happens if my child needs urgent attention/care while in the play space?
If an emergency arises, we will text and approach the parent on-site immediately.
Can we schedule a tour prior to signing up?
Yes, we encourage it!

Are we able to provide alcoholic beverages for an event?
No, you would need to hire an insured caterer or bar service company.
