how it works at the lullabar

How it works

Here’s a quick overview of how YOU (mama) can get some me-time at The Lullabar.

How does it all work?

To start, all our services are reservation based in 2-hour time slots, except for the cafe open for walk-ins at any time.

Your “me-time” begins by first booking a 2-hour reservation for childcare in our play gym via our booking page (coming soon). Please know that play gym reservations require a signed waiver to complete the booking process.

After that, you can search for a workshop or nail salon service to correspond with the 2-hour childcare reservation you selected. All of our self-care services are scheduled around our childcare schedule.

For example, you secure a morning play gym reservation from 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM but would also like to book a manicure. You find a one-hour manicure at 9:20 AM and add this service to your cart! This may leave you some extra time to head over to our cafe.

The same goes for workshops.

Once you have secured your childcare and service reservations, walk into The Lullabar at your scheduled day and time, and meet with our receptionist, who will guide you to our play gym very close by.

You will then drop your child off at our play gym (make sure to give yourself plenty of time!) and then head to your selected service room for your self-care appointment.

You’ll receive a buzzer during drop-off if your little one has a smelly diaper or needs extra special attention from Mama. Remember that our goal is to give you as much me-time as possible, so we will do our best to refrain from buzzing you unless we are told otherwise.

And don’t worry; we’ve hired childcare professionals with plenty of previous experience who LOVE what they do.

As your “me-time” comes to an end, head to the play gym. The scheduled pick-up time begins 15 minutes before the 2-hour childcare reservation ends. Following the example above, pick-up would be between 11:00  – 11:15 am.

Please know that you can pick up your child at any time during the 2-hour reservation in the event of emergencies.
