Anxiety in Motherhood
Anxiety and motherhood often go hand-in-hand. It can be a normal human experience, but significantly more so after becoming a mom. Here’s the thing, it doesn’t have to control your day-to-day thoughts and feelings. In this 75-minute workshop, you will understand anxiety, how it shows up in your mind and body, and holistic ways to cope. You will be invited to engage in understanding and mapping your nervous system state, guided practices, and a supportive space to ask questions.
Dr. Kelly Vincent, Psy.D
Dr. Vincent is a licensed psychologist practicing in Encinitas, CA. She obtained her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology. She founded and owned Nourished Wellness Group, a holistic group therapy practice. She is also a certified gentle and restorative yoga teacher. Her clinical experience includes 9+ years of helping individuals manage and heal from anxiety, depression, and trauma through a mind-body approach.
