About the Program:

Why Magic Steps Music?

Magic Steps Music, a leading music program with locations all over Orange County, is now partnering with The Lullabar to bring its enriching experience to Carlsbad! Our classes are crafted to boost early childhood development through rhythm, melody, and movement, ensuring your child is learning while having a blast.

TRIAL CLASS

September 10th at 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm

10-WEEK SESSION

September 17th - November 19th

Each class offers a variety of music in different genres and styles. Classes are also a mix of songs using various instruments and finger play to optimize early childhood development. 

Each session has a new album of music used for that session along with future seasonal sessions as well.

Cost: $325 / $200 per additional sibling

At a young age, Ms. Amanda felt the magic of music & loved how it was a universal language that everyone could experience & enjoy together.

She has been playing music professionally for 10 years & caring for children for 9 years and loves teaching music classes as it brings her two passions in life together! Her joy is creating a fun and safe space for families to enjoy music together.

The program is designed for children aged 6 months to 5 years. It's perfect for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Yes, caregiver participation is encouraged! The program is designed to be interactive, with activities that involve both the child and their caregiver.

The cost for the 10-week session is $325, plus a one-time fee of $35 for the Instrumental Starter Kit, which includes a tambourine and shakers.

Absolutely! We offer a $10 trial class on September 11th, so you and your child can experience the program before signing up for the full 10-week session.

Classes are held on Tuesdays at 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. Each class lasts 45 minutes.

Classes will be held in our play space to start, and if all goes well we will continue to hold classes in there. However, if the toys become a distraction then we may move the sessions to our studio room.

Just bring yourself, your child, and a willingness to have fun! The Instrumental Starter Kit will be provided at the first class, which can be purchased via Venmo, Zelle or cash.

You can sign up for the trial class online through the link provided on this page or our Vagaro booking website. To sign up for the 10-week program, please email us at bookings@thelullabar.com. Spaces are limited, so we recommend signing up early.

We understand that things come up. While we don’t offer make-up classes, we encourage you to attend all sessions to get the most out of the program.

We want every child to have a positive experience! If you're unsure whether your child will enjoy the class, we recommend starting with a $37 drop-in session, space permitting. If you decide to join the full 10-week program, we’ll prorate the remaining classes. Please note that due to limited spaces, we do not offer refunds for the trial class, program, or Instrumental Starter Kit fees. For the best experience, we highly suggest booking the trial class first.

Yes, we offer a drop-in rate of $37 per class if you’re unable to commit to the full session. However, availability for drop-in spots is limited, so we recommend checking with us in advance to secure your spot.

Yes, we offer prorated pricing if you join the 10-week session after it has started. The cost will be adjusted based on the number of remaining classes. Please contact us for more details on prorated rates.

The 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm time frame is carefully chosen to fit the schedules of a wide range of children, including those who may have morning naps or other activities. It’s also when our childcare services wrap up for the morning, allowing us to fully dedicate the space and attention to the music program.

Yes, we offer a sibling discount! The cost for an additional sibling over 6 months old is $200 for the entire 10-week session. This makes it easier for families with multiple children to enjoy the program together.
