What’s all this “sensory” talk about? Let’s learn to play and promote our children’s motor and emotional development!
In this class, we will explore the primary sensory inputs, understand how to read children’s cues and explore sensation as a foundation for neurologic development. This will be a fun and hands-on experience, including group-based parent/child play, break-out exploration opportunities, and time for questions regarding sensory processing and integration.
This is an informative class for all children under two on the importance of sensory play.
Ages: 10 months – 2 years
Items we will utilize during this session: Sensory stations with various toys and sensory products; the opportunity to climb, get messy, make music, and move with peers!
Instructor: Dani Jaffe, OTD, OTR/L; Doctor of Occupational Therapy
