Welcome to our Summer Pop-Up Music Class, designed for children from 1 to 4 years old! Each lesson follows the RIMS method, integrating Rhythm, Instruments, Movement, and Singing for a fun and engaging musical experience.
The RIMS Method
- Rhythm: Practicing various rhythmic patterns.
- Instruments: Exploring and learning to play different instruments
- Movement: Enhancing musical expression through dance
- Singing: Developing vocal skills with fun exercises and songs
About Ms. Kelsey
Ms. Kelsey is an Intervention and Enrichment Teacher with a rich background in teaching piano, ukulele, recorder, choir, ballet, and movement. With nine years of experience teaching elementary music to grades PK through 5th, she particularly enjoys working with young children. Her classes incorporate a variety of instruments, rhythms, sound stories, movement, and singing, focusing on creative joy. Her favorite instruments are piano and ukulele, and she enjoys giving music lessons to her one-year-old daughter, Reese.
