How to Prepare Your Pelvic Floor for Birth

This is an educational workshop on how your pelvic floor is affected during pregnancy and birth. We will review strategies for preparing your pelvic floor for birth and ways to reduce the risk of unwanted pelvic floor issues, such as severe perineal tearing, urinary leakage, pelvic organ prolapse, and hemorrhoids. In addition, you will learn practical things to do to prepare your body for birth and understand when it is appropriate to see a pelvic floor physical therapist.
