This workshop will provide easy-to-digest information on speech and language development and easy-to-emulate activities for maximizing these skills in a functional day-to-day setting. Topics to be addressed include normative data on speech, language, and play (what is “normal”), the links between play and speech/language development, and the role of literacy at this young age. In addition, you will receive a list of helpful books to use at home.
