Join Us for Our 8-Week Winter Ballet Program Starting December 20th!

Led by our professional ballet instructor, Ms. Julia, this 8-week program is designed to introduce young dancers to ballet in a fun and family-friendly environment. With a recital at the end of the program, kids can showcase their skills, and after the first class, each child will enjoy a complimentary café steamer—a great way to kick off the program and meet other aspiring dancers.

Meet

Ms. Julia!

- Our Lead Instructor

At three years old, Ms. Julia took her first ballet class and fell in love with dance. She trained classically for over 15 years and performed in various ballets including The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, Les Sylphides, and Paquita.

During college, she served as a volunteer ballet instructor and choreographed recital pieces for beginning ballerinas here in San Diego. Ms. Julia is excited to share her passion for ballet and teach the littlest ballerinas everything from a pliés to grand jetés!

Frequently Asked Questions

To ensure safety and enhance confidence, all attendees must wear ballet shoes and are encouraged to dress in ballet attire, even for trial classes. Proper attire not only promotes technique but also helps little dancers feel ready to move! Affordable options are available on Amazon to suit every budget.


Please remember to bring:

- Ballet shoes
- A water bottle to keep them hydrated during class

The program is designed for young children who are 10 months to 5 years. It's perfect for toddlers and preschoolers.

The cost for the trial is $10 and the trial class fee is applied towards the 8-week program if you sign up.

The cost for the 8-week session is $225 and $175 per additional sibling.

Absolutely! We offer $10 trial classes on December 13th and 14th so you and your child can experience the program before signing up for the full 8-week session. The $10 trial class fee is applied towards the 8-week program if you sign up.

Classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays at 9 am, 10 am and 11 am. Each class lasts 45 minutes.

Classes will be held in our Studio room.

You can sign up for the trial class online through the link provided on this page or our Vagaro booking website. To sign up for the 8-week program, please email us at bookings@thelullabar.com. Spaces are limited, so we recommend signing up early.

We understand that things come up. We do allow make-up classes on the alternative day throughout the week (Saturdays or Tuesdays), if room allows. 

We want every child to have a positive experience! If you're unsure whether your child will enjoy the class, we recommend starting with a $32 drop-in session, space permitting. If you decide to join the full 8-week program, we’ll prorate the remaining classes. Please note that due to limited spaces, we do not offer refunds for the trial class or program. For the best experience, we highly suggest booking the trial class first.

Yes, we offer a drop-in rate of $30 per class if you’re unable to commit to the full session. However, availability for drop-in spots is limited, so we recommend checking with us in advance to secure your spot.

We do not offer prorating for sessions due to our booking platform. However, you can purchase an 8-week package at a discounted price per class and use any remaining classes in the next upcoming program.

Yes, we offer a sibling discount! The cost for an additional sibling is $175 for the entire 8-week session. This makes it easier for families with multiple children to enjoy the program together.

The recital will take place at The Lullabar! We will send out the recital time, attire information, and additional details three weeks before the event, so stay tuned! No cost for participation!

Due to limited spaces, we do not offer refunds for the trial class, drop-in class or program.
